Chris had surgery on Wednesday.  He is doing great now, but he's still in pain.  He is on soft foods and LOTS of fluids.  I have had the last three days off of work and it has been awesome.  I was feeling so frustrated and at the end of my rope.  But now I feel refreshed and happy.  I still have two more days off before I go back on Monday.  At this point, I think Chris will be okay enough for me to return to work.  But the doctor did say that Saturday will be a very tough day for Chris, so I will just play it by ear.  If he is still in a lot of pain and staying in bed, then I will may stay home to care for him.  I don't want him to push himself too much and not heal very well.  I want to be here for him during this time and take care of him.  I want him to know that he is loved and he is number one to me.  Hopefully, his meds will keep the pain under control and he will be okay on Monday.
