Chris took me to Omaha this weekend to show me where he grew up.  It was great to see his roots and his first "hometown".  What a nice time.  We came home yesterday and I have been gone a lot since then.  I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart with Chris' sister and mom and then out to dinner with them and his other sister.  This morning, we saw each other a little, and then I ran to the mall with his sister.  I got a great deal on two sweaters and I can't wait to wear them.  I also got a pair of Crocs (I have wanted these for a few months now).  I got home about 2:00, but he was gone to a 2:00 and 3:00 doctor appt.  So when he gets home after those, we will head out to my parents together.  My mom is going to perm my hair.  I can't wait for a little change for my hair.  I thought Chris and I would have more time together today, but it isn't really working out that way.  We did have all of Saturday and half of Sunday together, so I guess it's okay.  I don't know if he was ready for some alone time, or if he is miffed that I have been gone so much.  He seems fine, but I can't always read him.
